confidance mission statement

We empower dancers to build lasting confidence by blending mindset coaching with movement guidance in a safe, supportive space. Rooted in the belief that dancers are more than their performance, Confidance helps each individual reconnect with their purpose, trust themselves fully, and grow through every stage of their journey — both in and out of the studio.

What sets confidance apart?

Confidance is a dance coaching program, but more than that really— it’s a transformative experience designed to strengthen both the mind and body. What sets Confidance apart is my specialized focus on mindset training, helping dancers build unshakable confidence, overcome mental blocks, and develop the resilience needed to thrive both in and out of the studio.

Alongside mindset work, I also provide personalized technical training, guiding dancers to refine their technique and artistry. As a former professional ballerina with over 7 years of performing experience and more than a decade of teaching ballet, I bring a unique blend of expertise and empathy to every session.

Confidance offers a variety of ways for dancers to grow. I work one-on-one with dancers for tailored coaching to improve technique, strength and flexibility, improve musicality and perfect their stage presence. I host master classes, in studio workshops and offer week-long summer intensives for all ages.

What I’m most proud of is watching my dancers transform; not just in their technique, but in their mindset. Seeing them break through barriers and grow into confident performers is what drives me every day. It’s a privilege to put something positive into the world through Confidance, inspiring others and giving back to the dance community I hold so close to my heart.

the story behind Confidance

I started Confidance in 2021, coming out of one of the darkest seasons of my life. I had just experienced a deep depression, one that left me questioning my worth, my purpose, and whether I had anything left to offer. Like many dancers, I had spent years chasing perfection—trying to impress directors, teachers, mentors, and everyone around me. What I didn’t realize at the time was how deeply I had internalized that pressure. It shaped how I saw myself, even outside of the studio.

When the world shut down in 2020, my dance career ended, and I was left without a sense of identity. I didn’t know who I was beyond the stage. I felt like I had no qualifications, no direction, and honestly, no value. That year broke me open.

In 2021, I attended the Dream Summit on the Aerial Island. It was the first time in a long time that I put my phone down, got quiet, and actually listened—to my heart, to God, to my dreams. And what I heard was this: I don’t want any dancer to go through what I just went through.

That moment planted the seed for Confidance.

Once I began diving into personal development and mindset work, everything shifted. I learned how to rebuild my confidence, not from achievement or approval, but from within. And I knew I had to share that. I created Confidance to be the support system I never had—a space where dancers are seen, heard, and guided through more than just their technique. A space to remember they are enough, right now, exactly as they are.

I love my time with Mrs. Kaitlyn because we have so much fun while working hard. She’s made me love ballet even more than I did, and I really appreciate how she shows me exactly what to do by modeling each step. I’m so thankful that she focuses on both my ability and my mindset, and for all the Confidance she’s helped me build!

Before I started working with Ms. Kaitlyn I thought confidence was just about performing better on stage. But she’s helped me with so many elements with dance, and many skills beyond dance — like how to speak up, handle pressure, and believe in myself in everyday life. I feel stronger not just as a dancer, but as a person. She’s taught me that real confidence shows up everywhere, not just in the spotlight.
